I’ve been pretty quiet here for the past few months but am excited to start publishing on a more frequent cadence.
For those of you that don’t know, my name is Patrick Rivera and I’m a product engineer at Mirror, a web3 publishing tool. We’ve been working on some pretty big updates which I can’t wait to share in the coming months.
Every few weeks I’ll be publishing an essay on web3 consumer products, crypto protocols, DAOs, or share lessons from building in crypto / web3 over the past few years.
Here are a few of my most popular essays:
Over the next few months, I plan to write about:
Products vs. Protocols
Product development in web3
Protocol deep dives
Smart contract development
Tokenomics
Governance
Web3 growth strategies
L2s
Community building
Web3 wallets
Yesterday I published a new essay titled, “Understanding Web3 as the Internet-Native Economy“, in On Deck’s publication.
It’s a high level overview on web3, covers some fundamentals, and explains why so many people are optimistic about this next era of the web. Check out the full essay here.
Next week, I’ll be publishing some lessons learned from building DAO tooling based on my experience at Mirror the past few months and from conversations with top projects and creators.
Until next time ✌️
